Bostwick
Perfectly located about 15 minutes from the thriving towns of Watkinsville, Madison, and Monroe, Bostwick is close to so much yet it is a peaceful hub of affordable houses. Home to the annual Cotton Gin Festival, community spirit abounds. Walk by historic homes as you head to the ball field and playground. There’s a small restaurant, Market 83, and a mini-mart if you need to grab a few things. If you’ve seen the movie, My Cousin Vinny, you may recognize the two-story hotel by the rail tracks that kept waking them up in the night (no train actually here to wake you up though!). We’ve sold homes in Bostwick - from a sprawling estate, to a historic farm home, to a modern ranch with 4 acres. Fun Fact: most homes that are actually in Bostwick will have either a Madison or a Bishop address! Stay tuned for an upcoming blog on the weird ways Georgia designates addresses in some of these surrounding towns.
